Details Work in the Cardiology telemetry unit of a hospital setting Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week Patient ratio of 4:1, sometimes 5:1 No on-call responsibilities Requirements Active GA or Compact RN license required in hand Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience within the past 3 years Strong cardiac skills required Must complete a proctored rhythm identification test upon starting, with two attempts allowed Additional Information Provide telemetry nursing care to cardiology patients Navy blue scrubs required Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday Only one holiday RTO request is allowed per assignment American Traveler Job ID P-738880.
