Medical Equipment Delivery / Service Technician

Job Description
Our Delivery Driver/Service Technician is responsible for the delivery, set-up, troubleshooting, and pick-up of durable medical equipment, supplemental oxygen products, and supplies to home care patients within a prescribed and assigned geographical area. You will also be responsible for unloading, assembling, and storing shipments of inventory.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver and instruct patients or family members on medical equipment and supplies in their place of residence or assisted care facility
Delivers, unloads and sets up equipment to full functionality
Follows the daily route to pick up or exchange equipment
Asks for feedback on provided services and resolves any patient concerns or complaints
Collects payments and signed documentation from each patient during delivery
Effectively communicates any order changes/issues and any route delays with staff, as well as with patient and family members
Prepares daily route and prepares truck for delivery by pulling stock and securing equipment
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma
One year of previous delivery or warehouse experience preferred
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Valid driver's license with a good driving record and no traffic violations (Must pass a motor vehicle records check)
Must be able to work a flexible schedule ( On-call rotation ) and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 100 pounds
Vision to read printed materials, computer screens and road signs
Excellent hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the phone
Stamina to perform job functions that may require you to sit or stand for extended periods of time
