Commercial Credit Analyst II

Overview We’re hiring a Commercial Credit Analyst II to join a team where your analysis directly shapes smart growth. You’ll partner with Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, and Credit Officers to underwrite $1MM–$4MM commercial exposures and turn financials, cash flow, and collateral into clear, confident credit decisions. Please note this is a hybrid position and could work out of one of our regional offices in Souderton, Doylestown, King of Prussia or Lancaster PA. Responsibilities PartneringwithUnderwriting Team Leader, Portfolio Managers,Relationship Managers,and Credit Officers during all phases of the commercial underwriting process, which includes new requests,modifications,renewals, and annual reviews of existing relationships. PrimaryResponsibilities: Independentlyunderwritecommercial credit exposures($1MM- $4MM). Organize relevant financial data. Spread andevaluateall levels offinancialinformationin addition to corporate and personal tax returns and personal financial statements. Prepare cash flow charts,confirmcovenanttests, andassesscollateral position. Preparewrittencreditriskassessmentsforlending teams, andcredit officers, to include details of risks and mitigating factors. Complete variouscompliance and underwriting trainingcoursesasassigned Possessstrong knowledge ofindustrypolicies. Accountablefor compliance with laws and regulations that apply to thispositionincludingtheUnivest Code of Conduct. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’sof Sciencein Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics. OtherBachelor’sdegreesconsideredwith commercial lending experience. Minimum3years’commercial banking underwriting experiencerequired. Skillsrequiredincludecredit riskevaluation, financial statementevaluation, and succinct business writing. Knowledge of traditional Commercial&Industrial, CommercialReal Estate,andSmall BusinessLending. Strongorganizational,and communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to work within compressed deadlines. Comfortable interacting withlending teams. Formal commercial credit trainingpreferred. Proficient inMicrosoftOffice products andfinancial spreading tools. nCino/ Salesforceexperienceispreferred Ability to mentorand collaborate with other analysts and underwriters.
