Sterile Processing Technician

We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supply management and have a minimum of two years of relevant experience. Certification as a CRCST is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and process surgical instruments and medical supplies for various departments.
• Ensure the proper sterilization and maintenance of instruments.
• Assist in supply inventory management and restocking as needed.
• Float to endoscopy and sterile processing departments as required.
• Collaborate with team members and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and compliance with sterilization standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician.
• Current CRCST certification is mandatory.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically Epic and Censitrac.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Information

This position may require variable weekend call and the ability to float between different departments as needed. All schedule requests and time-off requests must be documented upon submission.
