Job Opportunity at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at Ascension St. VincentLocation: Indianapolis, IndianaSchedule: Full-Time Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance offeredProductivity incentives offeredCME allowance and allotted CME time offThis job location is not currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type.Job ResponsibilitiesThis is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.Join an established team of physicians and nurse practitioner supportCall structure: 1 week once every 3 weeks (averaging 1-2 phone calls per night)Practice setting: Inpatient / Outpatient mixAccess to Athena (clinic) and Sunrise Clinical Manager (inpatient) EMR, 10 exam rooms, specialized subspecialty clinics (pre-diabetes, metabolic bone, and lipid), and robust triage nurse supportEmployed position within a nonprofit health systemBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric EndocrinologyEligible for state medical licensure and DEA registrationProvide high-quality endocrine care across outpatient, inpatient, and new patient populations, including conducting hospital consultations and assisting with specialized pre-diabetes, lipid, or metabolic bone clinics.Collaborate with and provide clinical oversight to an experienced support team, including nurse practitioners and triage nurses, while having the flexibility to expand and explore personal pediatric endocrinology clinical interests.Fellowship training in Pediatric Endocrinology requiredAbout the Facility197-bed pediatric facility (including 40 private inpatient beds, 8 short-stay beds, 23 PICU beds, 17 Pediatric ED beds, and a 109-bed Level IV NICU)Trauma designation (Pediatric Trauma services available onsite)Serving a population of approximately 2 million in the greater Indianapolis metropolitan areaIntegrated referral network of over 3,000 physicians across 22 ministriesPart of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health systemWhy Physicians Choose AscensionPhysician-led, collaborative cultureLong-term practice stabilityNational network with local autonomyMission-centered care rooted in serviceQualificationsLicensure / Certification / Registration:Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Advanced Life Support preferred.
