Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg/TelemetryWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med-Surg Telemetry unit. This position will involve providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment that supports a diverse patient population, including those with cardiac, diabetes, congestive heart failure (CHF), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), renal issues, and general surgery needs.Key ResponsibilitiesDelivering comprehensive nursing care to patients in a 42-bed Med-Surg Telemetry unit.Monitoring and administering medications, including insulin, heparin, and Lasik drips, effectively and safely.Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, including RNs, LPNs, PCTs, CNAs, and unit secretaries to optimize patient outcomes.Providing care to Immediate Care Unit (IMCU) patients based on census requirements.Floating to similar acuity levels or lower, as needed.QualificationsMust possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.ACLS and BLS certifications are required.Proficient with intravenous insulin, heparin, and Lasik drips.Truncated compliance and CPI training are mandatory.Experience in telemetry nursing is preferred but not required.Work ScheduleThis position offers a 3x12-hour night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including weekends and holidays.
