Duties Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention plans. Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques grounded in applied behavior analysis (ABA) to promote skill development and reduce maladaptive behaviors. Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly. Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions across settings. Provide training and supervision to behavioral therapists and support staff to maintain high-quality service delivery. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining confidentiality of medical records and sensitive client information. Participate in intake processes, develop treatment goals, and conduct ongoing patient assessments to evaluate outcomes. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and reports in accordance with professional standards. Skills Extensive knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Strong data collection skills to track behavioral progress effectively. Familiarity with special education practices and integrating behavioral strategies within educational settings. Ability to perform patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and families. Understanding of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, and medical records management. Compassionate approach to patient care combined with a proactive attitude towards treatment planning and implementation.
