Job Description

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and craft individualized therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional milestones
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and everyday activities
• Collaborate with Holistic Care Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care
• Guide Patients and Their Families: Educate both patients and caregivers on therapeutic approaches to promote ongoing progress at home
• Evaluate Progress and Adjust Plans: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment as necessary, ensuring patients stay on track

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Ongoing education or advanced certifications encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
