Mission Community Hospital, a 145-bed acute care hospital in the San Fernando Valley, is excited to welcome a New Graduate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)to join our Medical-Surgical/Telemetry team on the Night Shift .

Position SummaryAs an LVN, you will provide compassionate, high-quality patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Physician. You will play an important role in the delivery of patient care by:
- Administering medications and treatments
- Monitoring and documenting patient status
- Assisting with patient assessments and care planning
- Providing patient and family education
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Delivering safe, patient-centered care to adolescent through geriatric patients
- Supportive team environment

- Current California LVN License
- IV Therapy Certification (or completion of a California-approved IV Therapy Course)
- Current BLS Certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
- MAB Certification (required within 30 days of hire)

PAY TRANSPARENCYAt Mission Community Hospital we offer a competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. Depending on the specific role or shift, employees may be eligible for additional compensation (Differential Pay) between $1.00 - $5.00 per hour.
