Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments through virtual consultations to gather comprehensive information about clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health.

• Collaborate closely with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Follow up with referrals and coordinate care for clients transitioning to different levels of treatment, providing a seamless therapeutic experience.

• Provide resources and guidance for families and primary caregivers to navigate the mental health challenges of their loved ones.

• Document all client interactions and treatment outcomes diligently in our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients come from varied backgrounds, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. As a mental health counselor, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse populations, including adults and adolescents, providing tailored therapeutic interventions that meet the changing needs of our clientele. Additionally, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to enhance the overall care experience and promote client success.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is required.

• Demonstrated clinical experience as a mental health counselor, preferably in a telehealth or remote setting.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, particularly AVATAR, to document care and track client progress.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous work experience with clients dealing with co-occurring conditions such as substance use disorders and mental health issues.

• A comprehensive understanding of the latest treatments and best practices endorsed by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and empathetically.

• Strong interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary that ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, accompanied by a sign-on bonus.
