Registered Nurse RN Oncology

Overview Schedule: Part time, days, 8‑hour shifts generally 08-16:30, Monday to Friday. No weekends or holidays. Facility: Prime Healthcare, St. Mary's Infusion Center. Location: Chicago, IL 60622. Free parking. Responsibilities The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care within the scope of practice in the Infusion Center. Administers IV therapy to patients. Monitors patients' vital signs and reactions to medication. Instructs patients, staff, and families about infusion medications and premeds. Responds to side effects and/or adverse reactions during infusion. Qualifications Current and valid state RN license. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintained. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
