Responsibilities

1. Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of various plant and office electrical systems.
2. Perform preventive maintenance on various types of equipment.
3. Engineer and fabricate production fixtures and equipment.
4. Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of plastic and metal plumbing systems including threading and sweat fitting of pipe.
5. Installation and maintenance of pneumatic, hydraulic and other mechanical systems.
6. Metal working through the use of manual and CNC milling machines, lathes and basic welding equipment (Stick, MIG, TIG).
7. Maintain shop in a clean and orderly manner in accordance with 5S standards.
8. Work in a safe manner, follow all safety rules and report any potential safety hazards to management.
9. Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

1. Proven track record of ability to repair, test, adjust, or install equipment such as; industrial controls, motors, motor controls, lighting and power distribution systems.
2. Must have knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) and OSHA safety standards.
3. 2+ years of trade school or college equivalent and 5+ years of facility maintenance experience with a concentration on electrical maintenance and installations.
4. Must be able to read and understand all blueprints, drawings and electrical schematics.
5. Must be able to effectively communicate and have a proficiency in writing and speaking English.
6. Perform all duties in a safe manner with a high level of professionalism and quality.
7. Must be able to work independently as well as in a team setting.
8. Must be licensed and able to drive the company van and personal vehicle.
9. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
10. Must be able to bend, kneel, and twist.
11. Must be able to safely work at heights of 35+ feet.
12. Must be flexible with start and finish times and available to work overtime when needed.
13. This is a safety-sensitive role and requires a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
14. Must be 18 years or older.

Compensation

*This is a Union Position and pays $30.00-$34.95/HR                                                                                         Eligible for Overtime pay after working 8 hours a day Monday-Friday and time and a half for all hours worked on Saturdays
