Wholesale Parts Specialist

Job Full Description

Leading wholesale distributor of industrial products is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative in east Tampa area due to growth.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate entire order process from time of order through delivery and shipping.
Works closely with field representatives and customers in communicating product availability.
Maintains appropriate freight costs by determining the most efficient carrier routing.
Minimize impact of customer service complaints and claims by reacting quickly and efficiently to resolve problem issues.
Understanding and interpreting product requirements and providing information to customers.
Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends.
Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing product information and explanations; preparing quotes.
Fill orders and communicate expected delivery dates.
Check customers buying history; suggest related and new items and explain available features.
Answer incoming phones and inquires.

Qualifications:

Experience in an industrial sales setting preferred, hose, auto parts or mechanical industry experience a plus.
Excellent telephone etiquette and problem-solving skills required.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn various computer systems, Microsoft suite experience.
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Able to handle multiple tasks and respond to customers quickly and efficiently.
Ideal candidate must be a team player, goal-oriented and self-motivated.
