I am working with a Tampa litigation team looking for an associate with around 4 to 5 years of litigation experience, with a strong background in mass tort, product liability, or closely related complex litigation.

This is not a role for someone who only wants routine file handling. The work is more involved than that. It needs someone who can think clearly, write well, handle detail, and stay calm when there are a lot of moving parts.

Insurance defense experience would be valuable, but the main focus is mass tort, product liability, and complex litigation work.

You will be joining a team where client service matters, writing matters, and people are expected to pull their weight without being left to figure everything out alone.

What they need

• Around 4 to 5 years of litigation experience
• Meaningful mass tort, product liability, or closely related complex litigation experience
• Florida Bar admission
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent writing skills
• Someone who works well as part of a team, but can also manage responsibility independently
• Good judgment, strong communication, and the ability to deal with clients properly

This could suit someone who enjoys complex litigation and wants to be around attorneys who take the work seriously.

Not every file will be glamorous. That is litigation. But the work is interesting, the platform is strong, and there is room here for someone who wants to build properly.
