Accountant

Randstad Accounting & Finance is seeking a hands-on Staff or Senior Accountant for an immediate 100% remote clean-up project. If you bring expertise in SAP, complex reconciliations, and audit preparation, this short-term assignment offers a great opportunity to make an immediate operational impact.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of general ledger accounting and audit prep experience.
• Software: Hands-on experience with SAP software is required.
• Core Skills: Advanced account reconciliations, fixed assets/deferred revenue tracking, and variance analysis.

salary: $30 - $35 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive general ledger clean-up and historical account reconciliations.
• Prepare audit workpapers, schedules, and documentation for upcoming audit reviews.
• Reconcile fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and deferred revenue schedules.
• Research, troubleshoot, and resolve complex account variances and balancing discrepancies.
• Ensure all entries and financial adjustments align with GAAP standards.
