LEAD MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – COVINGTON, LA 70433

EXPERIENCED LEAD TECH NEEDED – START ASAP!

Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking a strong, experienced Lead Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in Covington, LA . We need someone who can hit the ground running, work independently, and lead the maintenance team effectively.

REQUIREMENTS

Multifamily/apartment maintenance experience REQUIRED
Previous Lead Maintenance Technician experience REQUIRED
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliance repair
Experience handling work orders, unit turns, and preventative maintenance
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues
Able to prioritize daily maintenance needs and keep work moving efficiently
Strong communication and leadership skills
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Must be available to start ASAP

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead daily maintenance operations and prioritize work orders
Complete apartment make-ready/unit turns
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and other building systems
Perform preventative maintenance and property inspections
Help train and guide maintenance team members
Maintain property grounds, common areas, and equipment
Respond professionally to resident maintenance requests
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to property standards

We are looking for a hands-on Lead Tech who knows multifamily maintenance , can troubleshoot problems without constant supervision, and is comfortable taking ownership of the property’s maintenance needs.
