Responsibilities Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant Location/work environment: In facility Reporting structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well by implementing occupational therapy programs and activities, following recovery plans, and delivering therapy treatments. You are a healer and helper, focusing on the whole patient, and executing programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence. You adapt to patient needs, collaborate with peers, and provide referrals to support patients’ recovery. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards. Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Licensed or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
