Machine Operator LeadWe are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator Lead to join our team. The position offers opportunities for both 1st and 2nd shifts, with overtime potential. Competitive hourly rates are offered, with additional compensation for those with heading and forming experience.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate cold heading and thread rolling machines with guidance from trainers or mentors.Work from detailed engineering drawings and process documents to produce quality parts.Utilize precision measuring devices such as micrometers, dial calipers, and optical comparators.Prepare dies for use and troubleshoot machine malfunctions.Obtain and manage job packets, part drawings, and specifications.Install and remove tooling from machines using hand tools.Manage wire stock and maintain machine oil levels daily.Maintain a neat and orderly workplace.Complete time, production, and quality reports.Communicate effectively with operators across shifts.Observe all safety regulations and perform other duties as required.Essential SkillsMechanical and technical skills with prior manufacturing experience.Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, comparators, and gauges.Ability to read and understand engineering specifications.Additional Skills & QualificationsBasic computer skills.Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools.Why Work Here?Join a supportive team with a comprehensive benefits package.
