Job Description
Multimodality Technologist (CT/X-Ray) - Day Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift available: 3x12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Multimodality Technologist provides quality imaging and patient care within X-ray and CT modalities. The technologist must effectively explain procedures to patients, ensuring they understand and are competent in the process. This role is critical in producing accurate images for the interpretation and requests of licensed practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures in both X-ray and CT modalities.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure their understanding.
• Produce high-quality images for medical interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and guidelines.
• Support interdisciplinary teams in providing patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Must be registered in both Radiography (ARRT) (R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT) (C).
• SC Radiology License required, with candidates having pending licenses considered if proof of application is provided.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (pending certifications acceptable but must be obtained within 2-3 weeks of hire).
• Experience in emergency, trauma, pediatrics, and orthopedic exams preferred.
• Familiarity with Siemens equipment, EPIC charting, and PACS is highly valued.
