Multimodality Tech (CT/X-Ray)Job Title: Multimodality Tech (CT/X-Ray) Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred License: South Carolina License Certifications: ARRT in Radiography and Computed Tomography, BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Registered in both Radiography (ARRT) and Computed Tomography (ARRT) - BLS and ACLS (will accept pending as long as certification is obtained within 2-3 weeks of hire) - Experience in Emergency, Trauma, Pediatrics, and Orthopedic exams in both modalities - Familiarity with Siemens equipment, Epic, and PACS - Must provide radiation badges Description: Multimodality technologist provides quality imaging and patient care within X-ray and CT. The technologist must effectively explain the procedures to the patient. Ensuring patients are competent in the procedures being performed is crucial. The technologist must produce images for the interpretation or request of a licensed practitioner. The position requires working 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with every other weekend required. The technologist may need to float to like units to meet facility needs. Travelers should be aware that all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November.
