Senior Operations Manager

Job Description Our client, a medical devices manufacturer, seeks a Senior Manager of Operations. The Senior Manager of Operations leads procurement, production planning, logistics, warehousing, inventory control, and transportation functions. Develops and executes strategies aligned with operational requirements and long-term business objectives. Duties and Responsibilities Lead and develop the procurement, production planning, logistics, warehousing, inventory control, and transportation departments including performance management and organizational design Accountable for KPI's such as customer order lifecycle service levels and inventory management Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cross-functional collaboration Contribute to long range operational planning, capacity readiness, and organizational capability development in partnership with operations leadership Support new product development initiatives Perform additional duties as required to support operational and business objectives Directly supervises Shipping & Warehousing Manager, Procurement Manager, and Master Scheduler. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred Minimum of five years of progressive experience in supply chain or operations leadership Demonstrated leadership and people management experience Strong strategic, business, and analytical skills Effective written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels, including shop floor and management Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects Experience with procurement, production planning, inventory management, and logistics operations Working knowledge of ERP systems, demand planning, and quality/continuous improvement methodologies Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for up to 8-10 hours per day Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
