We have built a flexible work environment where new ideas are encouraged and everyone is a stakeholder.You will own end-to-end accounting for revenue and partnership arrangements, ensuring accurate recognition, timely close, and complete disclosures across customer and partner incentives. You will maintain and improve internal controls and reporting, partner with commercial, legal, tax, and data teams to define accounting and control requirements, and support audits. You will identify, design, and implement AI and automation solutions that reduce manual work, improve quality, and preserve human oversight, governance, and audit readiness.Owning month-end and quarter-end close for revenue and partnerships, including subledger reviews, exceptions, journals and reconciliationsAnalyzing balance sheet and P&L movements, investigating anomalies and producing evidence-based commentary on key driversDeveloping understanding of commercial economics, contract terms and data flows to ensure transactions are complete and accurately reflectedReviewing customer and partner arrangements and applying ASC 606 and US GAAP to incentives, revenue sharing and non-standard termsDesigning and implementing AI-driven automation and process improvements using tools to reduce manual work while preserving human oversight and auditabilityCore Requirements2+ years of relevant accounting or audit experienceProfessional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)Strong knowledge of US GAAP, especially ASC 606, with hands-on experience in revenue recognition, partner incentives, variable consideration and balance sheet reconciliationsFamiliarity with generative AI models and prompt developmentPreferred RequirementsExperience with ERP systems and transaction subledgers (Oracle or similar) and month/quarter close activitiesExperience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuiteCircle is on a mission to create an inclusive financial future, with transparency at our core.
