OB/GYN Physician

Seeking a Board Certified OB/GYN physician to provide full-scope locum coverage with primarily 24-hour pager call and occasional outpatient clinic coverage. This is a low-volume assignment with rare callback opportunities.

Compensation: 24 Hour On Call: $3,040 per 24 hours + 2 hours gratis,

Call Back: $270/hr.

Schedule

Full-time coverage

Minimum 5–7 consecutive 24-hour call shifts per block

Ideal availability: 10+ consecutive shifts per block

24-hour pager call

Occasional weekday clinic coverage (8:30 AM – 4:00 PM) as needed

Clinic work is performed only when covering provider vacations

Practice Setting

Acute Care Hospital

Full-Scope OB/GYN

Inpatient and Outpatient

Level I NICU

10-bed Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) Unit

2-bed newborn nursery

Responsibilities

Provide 24-hour OB/GYN call coverage

Manage emergency gynecologic cases (very low volume)

Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries

Provide outpatient clinic coverage when needed

Perform deliveries during clinic hours as necessary

Full-scope OB/GYN care

Practice Details

Approximately 15–18 clinic patients per day

Approximately 360 deliveries annually

Rare callback volume

No supervision of other providers

EMR: Epic

Requirements

Board Certified in OB/GYN

Active Oregon license, Active IMLC, or willing to obtain Oregon license

DEA and CSR

BLS

GYN case logs required

COVID vaccination required

Must be available for a minimum of 5–7 consecutive call shifts per month

Clean malpractice and background history

Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation

Additional Information

Local candidates are highly preferred.

Comprehensive credentialing documents, including GYN case logs, licenses, board certification, references, immunization records, CME documentation, and a recent professional photo, are required to expedite credentialing.
