What You Will Be Doing

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering relevant diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues alongside collaborating physicians or independently (as per credentialing)
• Providing education to patients and their families on wellness, disease prevention, and management strategies
• Administering medications and therapies in adherence to your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic illness management
• Working seamlessly across interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Maintaining comprehensive electronic medical records (EMR) accurately and diligently

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain these within 90 days)
