Description

American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist for a hospital Oncology department requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT (T) certification.

Details

• Hospital-based Radiation Oncology department
• Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM with possibility of 4/10s
• Uses ARIA for electronic medical records
• No weekend or on-call requirements

Requirements

• ARRT (T) certification required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of radiation therapist experience required
• 1 year of travel experience OR post-graduation work experience with Varian and ARIA required
• TrueBeam, ARIA, and Trilogy experience preferred
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsible for delivering quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments
• Perform treatment simulations and fabricate necessary shielding blocks
• Prepare equipment for patient treatments, performing quality control and assurance tests
• Adhere to infection control and radiation safety practices
• Maintain professional working relationships with medical staff
• Scrubs of any color permitted
• Maximum of 5 days RTO can be requested
• Local candidates within 35 miles of the facility may be considered local travelers with adjusted pay
