Role Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care delivered by others. Coordinates patient care with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and aligns duties with organizational standards and values. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive care in a rehabilitation setting for adult and geriatric patients with neurological and medical conditions, such as CVA, brain or spinal injuries, amputations, and joint replacements. Collaborate within a healthcare team to promote patient recovery and functional improvement. Qualifications Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license in the state or with compact licensure. Certification in Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Skills Clinical skills in rehabilitation nursing, teamwork, effective communication, and adherence to safety and confidentiality standards.
