Front of House Manager

30hop Restaurant & Bar in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for a Front of House Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll help lead front of house operations by developing team members, overseeing training and onboarding, and ensuring every Guest receives an exceptional dining experience. What You'll Do Lead by example while maintaining exceptional hospitality and service standards throughout the restaurant Coach, mentor, and develop front of house team members through ongoing training, feedback, and recognition Support hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and training for all front of house positions Lead pre-shift meetings focused on service, menu knowledge, and daily execution Ensure front of house team members are confident, prepared, and following company service standards Monitor front of house cleanliness, organization, zoning, and ensure the restaurant is ready for Guests throughout every shift Partner with restaurant leadership to support scheduling, labor goals, and daily operations Maintain front of house training materials, sidework expectations, and operational checklists Support inventory, supply ordering, uniform standards, and restaurant operational needs Build relationships with Guests, resolve concerns professionally, and create memorable dining experiences Maintain compliance with food safety, alcohol service, and company operating standards Attend weekly leadership meetings and support continuous operational improvement What We\'re Looking For Must be at least 21 years of age Two or more years of restaurant leadership experience is preferred Experience hiring, onboarding, training, and developing front of house team members is preferred Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities Experience in a high-volume hospitality environment is preferred A positive attitude and a willingness to lead by example The ability to obtain ServSafe certification within 30 days of employment The ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds 30hop Restaurant & Bar is an Equal Opportunity Employer #hc254977 #J-18808-Ljbffr
