Supervisor | 3rd Shift

The Distribution Center (DC) Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of department operations including planning, organizing, and monitoring the receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping functions to ensure a smooth and consistent operation. The DC Supervisor provides support to employees and, at the discretion of DC leadership, other departments as necessary. What Will You Be Doing? Identify and coordinate daily activities to achieve desired results in productivity, teamwork, safety, quality, and job knowledge. Oversee all aspects of the distribution center to ensure the products are processed and delivered in an accurate and timely manner. Provide day‑to‑day direction and development to hourly staff to include coaching, counseling, career development, and corrective actions. Conduct annual performance appraisals and provide continued feedback on overall performance. Interview and hire new employees. Collaborate across departments to drive optimal productivity. Analyze business and performance trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies. Foster an environment in which diverse backgrounds are respected and valued. Respond to employee needs, including professionalism, respect, and consideration of others. Manage difficult employee situations in a professional manner. What Are We Looking For? Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree. 4‑6 years of warehouse experience. 1‑3 years as a lead or supervisor. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus. Ability to read, write, and identify colors, sizes, quantities, label and SKU information and communicate verbally with customers. Demonstrated ability to follow directions and change priorities or job duties as business needs require. Exhibits sound and accurate judgment. Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to change in the work environment. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors work to ensure quality. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self‑directed and motivated. Take initiative to identify and anticipate department needs and make recommendations for implementation. Ability to work in a high‑demand, high‑volume environment while meeting deadlines. Work both independently and within a team. Strong attention to detail. Physical Requirements The employee is constantly required to stand, walk, talk and hear. The employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to 60 pounds, operates powered equipment requiring use of both hands as well as full range of motion of the neck, head and back. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, grasp and perform repetitive hand, wrist and arm motions, climb stairs, kneel/squat, bend and carry. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee may be required to wear a headset covering one or both ears and personal protective equipment such as a protective harness while operating equipment. Basic English literacy is required for operation of machines and necessary daily paperwork. Work environment is moderately noisy. The employee is occasionally required to work near conveyor systems and may be exposed to dust and weather conditions. Potential hazards exist with regard to machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks and mechanized systems. Work environment is hectic and fast‑paced with exposure to ambient lighting and extreme heat and cold including climates consistent with outside weather conditions. What's Our Offer? Salary Range: $71,732 - $96,600 on a salary basis, depending on experience. The overnight shift also receives an annual shift differential of $4,160. Bonus: Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary. Paid Time Off: Accrues on a bi‑weekly basis based on hours worked up to 152 hours per year to start.
