Job Title: Swiss Machinist Job Description

As a Swiss Machinist, you will be responsible for operating Swiss machines such as Bx, BH Turret, and 327 laser Swiss, primarily producing orthopedic products like bone screws. Your role will include monitoring parts to ensure they remain within tolerance and making necessary adjustments to offsets or tools. You will work primarily with materials such as titanium, stainless steel, cobalt chrome, and PEEK. Additionally, you will be responsible for checking your own parts. Assistance is available if you are unfamiliar with the machines.

Responsibilities

• Operate Swiss machines including Bx, BH Turret, and 327 laser Swiss.

• Produce orthopedic products such as bone screws.

• Monitor parts to ensure they remain within tolerance.

• Adjust offsets or tools as necessary to maintain tolerance.

• Check and inspect your own parts for quality assurance.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in reading blueprints.

• Experience with CNC Swiss machines.

• Knowledge of deburring and quality inspection processes.

• Familiarity with G&M codes.

• Ability to perform tool changes and machine offsets.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent experience operating CNC Swiss machines.

• Experience with Tsugami machines is a plus.

• Familiarity with medical parts is advantageous but not required.

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $72000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
