Logistics SpecialistThe Logistics Specialist handles customer inquiries across phone, email, and in-person channels while managing customer accounts and supporting logistics operations. This role provides accurate information about services, addresses customer concerns, and collaborates with internal teams to ensure timely and satisfactory resolutions. The Logistics Specialist maintains detailed records of customer interactions and transactions, contributes to documentation and reporting, and supports import and export activities within a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.ResponsibilitiesHandle customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions in a professional and timely manner.Provide clear and accurate information about services and logistics processes, including trucking and related activities.Manage customer accounts by tracking requests, updating information, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate timely and effective resolutions to customer issues.Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and service requests.Perform data entry tasks to update systems, logs, and reports related to logistics and customer service activities.Prepare, review, and maintain reports related to logistics operations, customer service metrics, and account status.Support import and export activities through accurate documentation management and record keeping.Create, organize, and manage documents for logistics, trucking, and customer service processes.Draft and manage email correspondence with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.Use Microsoft Office products, including Excel, to track data, generate reports, and support daily operations.Essential SkillsProven experience in a customer service role.At least 1 year of office-related administrative or customer service experience.Minimum of 6 months of logistics or trucking knowledge.Strong customer service skills, including customer support and handling inquiries.Proficiency with email correspondence in a professional setting.Experience handling inbound and outbound calls.Data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and completeness.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and other Microsoft products.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in logistics operations, including trucking processes.Familiarity with import and export procedures and documentation.Experience with documentation management and document organization.Ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments and external partners.Comfort working in a small company environment with direct interaction across teams.Interest in professional growth and development within logistics and customer service.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
