Graphic Designer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visual text and imagery concepts, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform or captivate consumers. Develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, magazines, and corporate reports. Obtain input from managers and work closely with marketing and promotions departments to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately and represent the company or brands appropriately Responsibilities Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets Create compelling and effective logos, designs, print and digital media Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trends Design graphics for a variety of platforms including websites, social media, and print Plan and illustrates concepts by designing rough layouts or art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetics. Conceptualizes cross-channel campaign concepts and obtains approval of concepts by preparing rough layouts for review. Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art. Develops all print and digital collateral needed to promote monthly Daily Deals and sales and other specials offers across all marketing channels including in-store shopper marketing, email, sms, app push notifications, online landing pages, event signage, menus and printed brochures. Develops social media content strategy and content to support brand values and company objectives and manages regular posting cadence on all social media channels including Instagram, X, Facebook and TikTok. Ensures operation of design equipment and software by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; and evaluating new equipment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field 2-4 years of experience in graphic design Proficient in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills Portfolio of work Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments.
