Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)

Position Summary $30K Commitment Incentive Responsibilities Provide care in accordance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, and other standards established by professional groups, regulating bodies, and agents. Nursing care will be delivered in accordance with ECU Health and entity‑specific nursing policies, procedures, and professional standards of care/practice. Provide and coordinate nursing care, including the collection and analysis of assessment data, identification of expected outcomes, and development of a plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family and interdisciplinary team members. Implement and evaluate interventions to attain expected outcomes, document the process, and address age‑specific and unique needs of the patient/family. Promote and evaluate the effective functioning of the health‑care team. Collaborate with team members to meet identified patient/family needs throughout the episode of care and delegate tasks and activities appropriately, as governed by the NC Nurse Practice Act. Minimum Requirements Diploma in Nursing, Associate’s in Nursing, or higher. Current NC RN license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state. Basic Life Support certification. Pay Range Staff Nurse II hourly range: > $34.00 - $46.75. Final compensation is determined by career ladder placement (Staff Nurse I – IV).
