The Solutions Architect plays a key role within the Digital Services group, with responsibilities spanning all regions of the company. This is a vital role in the development of overall Information/MES solution architectures for our customer. Successful applicants will contribute to every stage of the solution implementation process including consultancy, assessment, requirements gathering and specification, solution architecting and development, technical implementation, user training and commissioning. This position reports to the Director of Operations, Digital Services.

Key responsibilities include supporting pre-sales engagements, leading solution architecture, performing gap analysis, acting as functional lead on a variety of projects, building relationships with key global partners, partnering with team leadership and global partners on strategy, maintaining deep, domain-specific knowledge, mentoring and developing colleagues, advising on AI and generative-AI architecture, and guiding customers on their AI strategy and roadmap.

Qualifications and experience include 10+ years in the manufacturing software arena, hands-on experience in industrial manufacturing environments, proven track record leading end-to-end solution architecture, deep architectural experience across configurable and custom software, architectural-level knowledge of relational and time-series databases, demonstrated experience architecting enterprise-to-plant-floor integrations, advanced experience designing solutions on major industrial software platforms, demonstrated customer-facing advisory experience, practical proficiency using GitHub Copilot and/or Claude, and architectural fluency in generative-AI and LLM patterns.
