About the Position

Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year required; first-timers accepted License: Pending State License accepted Certifications: ARRT CT*, ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: - Work setting experience in inpatient, ER, community hospital, and adult ICU - PACS and contrast experience - Siemens Force and GE scanners experience - Epic experience Description: The position is for a CT Tech. Flexibility to adjust shifts may be required due to call-ins or PTO. The tech may be asked to work early or late based on department needs. The daily caseload per tech includes inpatient, outpatient, neuro, full body, cancer, stroke, and lung screening cases. There are 4 scanners in-house and approximately 100 patients per day. On-call availability may be required as needed. Floating to other departments or facilities may occur based on requirements. Weekend coverage may be needed. Familiarity with procedures such as abdomen imaging, biopsies, and angiography is required. Experience with various patient demographics such as adults and geriatrics is essential. Familiarity with charting systems, particularly Epic, is required. Candidates must adhere to safety protocols and possess knowledge of radiation safety. All certification and training requirements must be met before the start of the assignment.
