Diesel Technician - C

Position Summary With direct supervision from a Lead Technician, Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager, a Maintenance Technician C performs preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. The role requires basic knowledge of vehicle systems to perform routine maintenance and repair. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing highly intricate machinery, working a regular shift in a stable industry, and receiving training in new technologies and equipment. Competitive wages and benefits are offered. Principal Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on diesel and non‑diesel equipment and trucks. Conduct visual inspections to identify potential equipment issues and sources of malfunctions using a variety of tools. Maintain and adjust vehicle preventive maintenance inspections, oil changes, fluid replenishment, tire changes, and basic electrical work. Complete applicable company training programs and perform other job‑related duties as assigned or apparent. Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in automotive or diesel maintenance. Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program or automotive service excellence (ASE) Certification (T8 PM) is a plus. Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults. Valid driver’s license preferred. Compensation Pay: $29.35 per hour.
