PRN Registered Nurse

Join a Team Dedicated to Compassionate Reproductive Healthcare A Woman's Choice is seeking a compassionate and skilled PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care on an as-needed basis. As a PRN RN, you will work alongside our clinical team to support patients throughout their visit, provide direct nursing care, and help maintain a safe, respectful, and patient-centered environment. What You'll Do As a PRN Registered Nurse, you will: Monitor and evaluate patients throughout their visit and procedure Provide nursing care and support to patients on an as-needed basis, covering shifts as assigned Administer routine and emergency medications in accordance with physician orders, standing orders, protocols, and licensure requirements Review patient health histories, consents, and medical documentation for accuracy and completeness Assist physicians during medical procedures Provide emotional, physical, and informational support to patients throughout their care experience Communicate patient information accurately and effectively to physicians and clinical staff Maintain detailed and accurate patient records Support a safe, secure, and compliant clinical environment Collaborate with the medical team to ensure exceptional patient care Participate in the after-hours phone rotation schedule as assigned What We're Looking For (Required Qualifications) Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or a valid multi-state compact RN license with authorization to practice in North Carolina Support for access to abortion care Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to prioritize and perform effectively under pressure Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately Preferred Qualifications Experience in reproductive healthcare Experience assisting with medication and procedural abortions Bilingual skills (preferred but not required) What Makes You Successful in This Role Professional, respectful, and compassionate approach to patient care Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with patients and colleagues Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with patients Commitment to advocating for patients through education, emotional support, and high-quality care Willingness to take initiative and support evolving clinical needs Dedication to A Woman's Choice values and mission About A Woman's Choice A Woman's Choice provides safe, effective, and affordable abortion care, including medication abortion and procedural abortion services.
