Staffing Coordinator

Job Opening: Staffing Coordinator (PRN) Location: Tice Valley Post Acute Compensation: Starting at $25.00 per hour Join Our Team! Tice Valley Post Acute is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator to join our team on a PRN basis. In this role, you will help ensure appropriate staffing coverage to support exceptional resident care while working closely with nursing leadership and team members. If you thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment and enjoy coordinating schedules and solving staffing challenges, we'd love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts. Fill open shifts by contacting available staff and maintaining staffing needs. Maintain accurate employee schedules, attendance, and staffing records. Communicate staffing updates with nursing leadership and department managers. Assist with tracking overtime, call-offs, and schedule changes. Ensure compliance with facility staffing requirements and policies. Provide administrative support related to staffing and scheduling. Foster positive communication with employees while promoting teamwork. Qualifications Previous staffing, scheduling, or administrative experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficient with Microsoft Office and scheduling software. Ability to work independently and adapt to changing staffing needs. High school diploma or equivalent required.
