Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical exams and comprehensive medical histories
• Assist in identifying and diagnosing surgical conditions through careful interpretation of imaging and laboratory analyses
• Work collaboratively with surgeons in formulating and executing tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Provide crucial intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments with precision
• Deliver exemplary pre- and post-operative care, including medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of surgical-focused clinical rotations is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure or eligibility as a Physician Assistant
