Site Lead

This role serves as the lead on-site authority and directly oversees the daily functioning of all departments within the detention facility. The Site Lead is responsible for ensuring compliance with internal protocols and external regulatory standards, coordinating with department leads, supporting clinical operations, and ensuring incidents or concerns are escalated and addressed timely and appropriately.

Essential Functions:

• Serve as the central point of leadership and accountability for all operational and clinical departments within the facility.
• Ensure adherence to all policies, procedures, and compliance requirements, including detention specific guidelines and HIPAA.
• Coordinate across departments to ensure proper communication, workflows, and staffing coverage.
• Lead daily and weekly operational meetings, track follow-up items, and support resolution of site-level issues and concerns.
• Promote cross-departmental collaboration to streamline care delivery and detainee services.
• Identify gaps or breakdowns in systems and lead mitigation strategies to avoid recurrence.
• Supervise and develop department leads.
• Partner with Clinical Lead and Medical Director to ensure adequate clinical support, timely patient care, and compliance with all clinical and operational protocols.
• Ensure all new hires receive thorough onboarding; monitor compliance with mandatory trainings, certifications, and facility-specific drills (e.g., suicide prevention, use of force, infection control).
• Oversee documentation and resolution of detainee grievances, staff complaints, and legal inquiries to ensure consistency, transparency, and legal defensibility.
• Monitor and support inventory, facility cleanliness, equipment functionality, and emergency preparedness.
• Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and excellence.
• Serve as a liaison with corporate support teams and external vendors.
• Maintain organized documentation of operational processes, issues, resolutions, and audits.
