Leidos' Defense Systems Colorado Manufacturing Facility is seeking a Production Manager to join our team supporting a stand-alone manufacturing facility performing work on a hypersonic weapon system as well as other DOD and aerospace applications. Leidos Defense Systems Sector / Manufacturing provides a diverse portfolio of systems, solutions, and services covering land, sea, air, space, and cyberspace for customers worldwide. Solutions for Defense include enterprise and mission IT, large-scale intelligence systems, command and control, geospatial and data analytics, cybersecurity, logistics, training, and intelligence analysis and operations support. Our team is solving the world's toughest security challenges for customers with "can't fail" missions. As part of the site leadership team, the Production Manager will have the opportunity to work with a collaborative team to support our nation's war fighters. Agility, flexibility, and creativity will be necessary to successfully navigate production challenges. Responsibilities include:

• Manage and lead a team of production technicians
• Maintain shop organization and 5S, performing weekly 5S audits
• Brief team in daily morning meeting on status of production jobs
• Work with production control team to understand deliverables and deploy resources effectively to support on time delivery
• Work with manufacturing engineering to continuously improve production flow
• Work with quality to understand status of nonconformities and support closure to move forward to the next step
• Identify production roadblocks and escalate to appropriate teams
• Hold team accountable to adhering to the written production processes
• Identify and support execution of continuous improvement projects
• Identify and escalate risks in the production processes
• Maintain department performance metrics
• Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess or be able to obtain Secret Clearance.

• Candidate least 5+ years manufacturing experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Prior supervisory experience
• Prior exposure to precision machining and assembly processes
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems
• Understanding of GD&T
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• BS degree in engineering, logistics, or business
• Lean manufacturing experience with Six Sigma certification.
• Prior experience in Deltek Costpoint
• Secret Security Clearance
