Job Summary

We are seeking a Staff Accountant for a direct hire opportunity with a manufacturing company in San Fernando, CA. This role is a strong fit for an accounting professional with 1-2 years of experience who is ready to grow in corporate accounting, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, month-end close, and inventory-related accounting.

The Staff Accountant will join a stable manufacturing environment with supportive leadership, positive teamwork, and exposure to important accounting processes that build long-term career value. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys detail-oriented accounting work, values accuracy and confidentiality, and wants to contribute to reliable financial reporting in a collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare month-end journal entries, including intercompany entries, inventory account adjustments, and prepaid expense amortizations.
- Analyze and maintain general ledger accounts to support accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations with proper documentation.
- Process invoices related to shipped orders accurately and within required timelines.
- Support month-end close activities while maintaining attention to detail and follow-through.
- Handle sensitive financial information with professionalism and confidentiality.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 per year.
- Job Type: Direct Hire.
- Location: San Fernando, CA.
