A-Line is seeking an RN Case Manager with a major health insurance / managed care company based in the Waco, TX area! Hiring ASAP!!

**Combination of remote work and field visits throughout Waco and the surrounding counties including Navarro, McLennan, Hill, Ellis, Limestone. Drive times can be up to 2 hours one way but usually are within an hour's distance. Mileage is reimbursed

Pay Rate: $40 - $45 hourly plus mileage reimbursement (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with a 1-hour lunch break. No OT Required

Registered Nurse Case Manager Job Duties:

• Will perform 3-4 in home visits with members/week to complete the Waiver Upgrade Assessment. The remainder of time is used to complete documentation & assist in coordinating services for the member. This can include calling MD offices, clinics, DME companies, & other providers to set up/coordinate member MD appointments, services, supplies and equipment.
• The travel for the member visits averages 1-2 hours one-way. These visit in the member’s home typically take 2-3 hours, in addition to travel time.
• This role is fast paced and requires excellent multi-tasking skills and someone who is a fast learner.
• The team primarily interacts with each other & other departments through telephone calls, messages on Microsoft Teams, email, and video.
• Training is remote, except for field visit training, that will be performed with one of the nurses on the team. There may also be some in-person trainings required at an office.
• Travel is required, and mileage reimbursement is provided****

What previous job titles or background work will in this role?

• Clinical background – RN experience (4+ years)
• Case Management Experience required
• Experience working remotely is highly preferred
• Documentation and good computer skills needed
• MCO experience

Required Skills:

• Licenses/Certifications: Current Texas RN – no restrictions on license
• 4+ years of RN experience
• Prior care / case management experience
• Previous experience working Hybrid or remote
• Associates Degree in Nursing
• Must have Computer literacy, including with Microsoft Programs like Excel, Outlook, and Word

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with a managed care organization (MCO)
• RUG certification
• Certified as a Case Manager (CCM) preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English, and able to translate fluently.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience with medical decision support tools (i.e., InterQual, NCCN) and government sponsored managed care programs.
