Medical Office Receptionist
We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Medical Office Receptionist to join our busy Medical Imaging Center. This front desk role is ideal for someone who enjoys providing outstanding patient service while thriving in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This center currently utilizes the Synapse electronic health record (EHR) system.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients and visitors with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Answer incoming phone calls and schedule patient appointments.
- Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate patient records.
- Process patient paperwork and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
- Assist with daily administrative and front office operations.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, technologists, and office staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous medical office or healthcare receptionist experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- High attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred.
- Spanish-speaking applicants are encouraged to apply.
