Accounts Payable Specialist

LHH is partnering with a well-established and growing organization near Hudson, Ohio to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. What You'll Be Doing
- Process high-volume accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently
- Review, code, and reconcile invoices while resolving discrepancies
- Manage and audit employee expense reports in accordance with company policies
- Leverage Excel for data tracking, reporting, and analysis (including formulas and reconciliations)
- Maintain accurate vendor records and support payment runs
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient AP operations
- Assist with month-end close and provide general accounting support as needed
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, data analysis, and reporting)
- Hands-on experience with expense reporting systems
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
