Minimum * Ability to handle stressful situations * Flexibility * Knowledge of basic math * Effective communication skills Desired * Any retail experience * Any sanitation/janitorial experience * Second language (speaking, reading and/or writing) * Promote trust and respect among associates * Communicate company, department, and job specific information to associates * Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated * Display a positive attitude * Gain and maintain knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment required for maintaining store sanitation and food safety standards * Monitor and control supply expenses for the Clean Team and overall store sanitation needs * Maintain an awareness of inventory and orderliness conditions in Cleaning Center; note any discrepancies in inventory * Practice preventive maintenance by properly inspecting equipment and notify appropriate department or store manager of any items in need of repair * Resolve customer inquiries in a timely, effective and professional manner * Manage the scheduling of Clean Team associates to provide adequate department coverage * Understand the store's layout and have the ability to locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers * Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines * Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and notify store management * Notify management of customer or employee accidents * Report all safety and illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud * Collaborate with team members to encourage teamwork and align the goals of the organization * Ensure that the Clean Team associates are current and compliant with company training standards * Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports * Adhere to all local, state and federal laws, and company guidelines * Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
