Associate Attorney Please make an application promptly if you are a good match for this role due to high levels of interest.About this roleOur client is looking for an associate attorney with 3+ years' experience with transactional real estate experience: acquisitions, dispositions, and financing who can step into active deal flow at a top-ranked regional law firm's real estate practice. You should be comfortable drafting and negotiating purchase/sale agreements, loan documents, and leases, with a track record of handling complex transactions at a major or strong regional law firm. Bonus points if you have experience in leasing, development, or hospitality-related transactions.What you'll do:Handle mid-level transactional real estate deal work across acquisitions, dispositions, and financing regularly on transactions of significant sizeDraft and negotiate purchase/sale agreements, loan documents, leases, and related transactional instrumentsWork closely with equity partners and practice group leaders on developer-oriented deal flow serving institutional clients, REITs, PE funds, foreign/domestic investors, and family officesServe as key counsel on referral work involving real estate matters, including local counsel engagementsSupport complex transactions spanning mixed-use developments, redevelopment projects, transit-oriented projects, and cross-border investmentCollaborate in a collegial team environment where creative problem-solving and client service are core valuesKey qualifications:3+ years of transactional real estate experience at a major law firm or strong regional firmStrong academic credentials requiredMust be a member in good standing of the Florida Bar, or eligible to sit for admissionBroad transactional RE skillset: acquisitions, dispositions, financingPreferred but not required: leasing, development, and/or hospitality experienceCompensation & benefits:Base salary: competitive, commensurate with class yearYear-end bonus eligible upon meeting billable hour targetRelocation assistance available for out-of-market hiresStandard AmLaw benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k))Work arrangement: Hybrid 3 days in office, with additional flexibility considered for the Real Estate groupAt Empower Staffing, we are dedicated to connecting top talent with leading companies.
