Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a dynamic role supporting middle school students as an onsite Special Education Teacher with a focus on Math and Reading. In this contract-to-hire opportunity, you'll have the rewarding responsibility of working closely with a caseload of 2-12 students across grades 6–8. This position is designed for passionate educators eager to make a lasting impact, promoting individual academic growth and fostering inclusive learning environments. With the school year running from August 5, 2026, through May 25, 2026, there’s an immediate interview process for qualified candidates.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching credentials or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Background in Math and Reading instruction for middle grades
• Demonstrated experience adapting curriculum to meet Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, families, and support staff
• Commitment to fostering safe, supportive, and engaging classrooms
• Strong organizational skills to manage IEP documentation and reporting

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction in Math and Reading for students with diverse learning needs in grades 6–8
• Design creative lesson plans aligned with students’ IEPs, adjusting as necessary to promote progress
• Coordinate with general education teachers to deliver consistent, inclusive instruction
• Track student outcomes and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school guidelines
• Engage parents and guardians as active partners in their children’s academic journey
