Full time. The Cooper Fitness Center has a new opening for a membership sales associate. The primary responsibility of the Membership Sales Consultant will be to sell club memberships while achieving or exceeding individual and team sales goals.

• Cooper Wellness Strategies takes the Cooper philosophies for individuals and transforms them to improve the physical and fiscal health of a company and its workforce.

Membership Sales Consultant Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Achieve or exceed monthly sales goals
• New member prospecting and outreach
• Use of club management software for prospecting and account management
• Prospect touring and ability to close sales
• New member onboarding
• Creation and support of Corporate Accounts
• Community outreach and promotion
• Support member retention programs
• Participation in company and community social events
• Business development
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Experience in health/fitness related field (preferred)
• 2-3 years of sales experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Superb organizational skills
• Proven ability to provide high quality customer service
• Proficiency with industry standard word processing, spreadsheet, database, graphics, and presentation applications
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, work independently and with a team, and perform detail-oriented functions
• Professional and enthusiastic attitude
• Team player
