Location: Century City, CA (Fully On-Site Initially; Hybrid Flexibility Available)
Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Strong Bonus Structure (DOE)

A growing and successful personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Law Attorney to lead and grow its employment law department. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated attorney who is interested in taking ownership of a practice area while handling a meaningful caseload and contributing to the continued growth of the firm.

The ideal candidate is an aggressive, driven, and entrepreneurial attorney with a strong understanding of both employment law and the business operations of running a successful legal practice. The attorney will oversee department operations, manage cases from inception through resolution, and play a key role in expanding the firm’s employment law capabilities.

Candidates with either plaintiff-side or defense-side employment law experience are encouraged to apply. The firm handles a variety of employment matters, including single-plaintiff claims and potential class action matters , with a focus on cases where attorneys can make a significant impact for clients.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the firm’s employment law department and day-to-day operations
• Handle a caseload of employment law matters from intake through resolution
• Develop case strategy, manage litigation, and advocate aggressively for clients
• Evaluate potential single-plaintiff and class action employment claims
• Work collaboratively with firm leadership to grow and expand the practice area
• Manage client relationships and provide high-level legal guidance
• Contribute to business development and department growth initiatives

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active California Bar admission in good standing
• 3+ years of employment law experience
• Experience in plaintiff-side or defense-side employment matters
• Strong litigation skills and case management experience
• Entrepreneurial mindset with an understanding of law firm operations and growth
• Highly motivated, competitive, and driven to succeed
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
