This position requires an employee to be onsite at 3200 Labore Rd, Ste 104, Vadnais Heights, Minnesota at least 50% of the time, with some opportunity to perform work from a telework location.

The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) is a residential, sex offense specific treatment program in a modified therapeutic community and secure setting that provides services to over 700 individuals who have been civilly committed for sexual offending. The Special Review Board (SRB) Report Author provides written reports, consultation, and testimony to the Special Review Board hearings and to the Minnesota Supreme Court of Appeals Panel. The SRB Author gathers information for their reports by conducting clinical interviews with clients, consulting with the treatment team, participating in case consultation within the department, and conducting detailed reviews of clients' records.

Responsibilities include:

• Write Special Review Board Treatment Reports and Special Review Board Treatment Report Updates as assigned for clients who have petitioned for a reduction in custody and who will be presenting before the Special Review Board and/or the Commitment Appeals Panel. Reports reflect a high level of professionalism and clinical competency.
• Complies with all facility and program policies and procedures pertaining to work practices to ensure that safety and health standards are met.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or closely related field.
• Licensed as an independent mental health professional (i.e. LP, LPCC, LICSW, LMFT).
• Three years of experience providing clinical services, including group and individual therapy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in sex offense specific treatment
• Experience writing comprehensive sex offender assessments, such as intake assessments, case conceptualizations, and diagnostic evaluations.

EDUCATION VERIFICATION - Applicants will be required to provide a copy of their high school diploma at time of interview OR copies of their college transcript or college degree/diploma at time of interview. Copies of the college degree/diploma are acceptable ONLY if it clearly identifies the field in which it was earned.

Direct Care & Treatment (DCT) healthcare facilities require employees to provide documentation that they are free from tuberculosis (TB) through a blood test prior to employment. DCT does not accept TB skin testing.
